  1. Nine at the beginning

No relationship with what is harmful; there is no blame in this. If one remains conscious of difficulty, one remains without blame.

In times of great abundance, vigilance against harmful attachments preserves the good. Awareness of difficulty is protective.

  2. Nine in the second place

A big wagon for loading. One may undertake something. No blame.

The capacity to carry much is available; large undertakings are supported. Match the scale of action to the resources at hand.

  3. Nine in the third place

A prince offers it to the Son of Heaven. A petty man cannot do this.

True abundance is offered back to the greater whole; small-minded hoarding is unworthy of real prosperity.

  4. Nine in the fourth place

He makes a difference between himself and his neighbor. No blame.

Knowing when to step back and allow others their space is not aloofness but wisdom. Discrimination protects abundance.

  5. Six in the fifth place

He whose truth is accessible, yet dignified, has good fortune.

The leader who is approachable without losing gravity commands genuine respect. Sincerity combined with dignity draws blessing.

  6. Nine at the top

From heaven comes blessing. Good fortune. Nothing that does not further.

When abundance is used with virtue and humility, heaven itself confirms and continues the blessing.
